Set of 4 space glasses, Czechoslovakia, 1950s

A set of four glasses produced by Borocrystal in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s.

Glasses made of hand-formed, solid and quite heavy transparent glass. Decorated with gilding and a hand-painted pattern in red. A modernist pattern maintained in the 'space design' trend. Large capacity of about 330 ml.

Glasses preserved in very good condition with minimal traces of time in the form of small, spot abrasions / scratches of the pattern. Due to the hand-made items, they have typical production imperfections - such as imperfection of form or small differences in dimensions, which definitely give charm and authenticity. Glass preserved in its entirety - one glass has micro cavities on the edge on the inside.
