- A set of 6 glasses produced by the USSR for the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. This Olympics was boycotted by 65 countries (including the United States) for the intervention of the then USSR in Afghanistan. Poland won 3 medals in Moscow. Władysław Kozakiewicz spectacularly won gold and set a new world record in pole vaulting. It was on this occasion that he presented his famous 'Kozakiewicz's gesture' which aroused emotions all over the world.
The offered set consists of 6 glasses made of transparent glass. The thick bottom makes the items quite heavy and solid. A simple form, slightly narrowing towards the top, is decorated with the red logo of the Olympics designed by Vladimir Arsentyev.
The items are preserved in very good condition with slight traces of time. One of the glasses has a slight chip on the rim, the others are in perfect condition. Noticeable slight imperfections in the decal - one glass has a star smudge. We tried to capture the above imperfections in the photos.
