The 'Louise' service designed in 1964 by the famous Jaroslav Ježek - called the founder of the Brussels style. The 'Louise' model refers to the historical, empirical shapes of porcelain from the beginning of the 19th century - it was designed for the needs of the then market for export purposes. The design was presented in 1967 at the world exhibition EXPO in Montreal and was produced in the Březová (Pirkenhammer) porcelain factory until 1988. In the 1990s, its production was resumed.
The set is complete, it consists of: jug, milk jug, sugar bowl, six cups and six saucers. The cups are quite large, with a capacity of about 200 ml, so the set is suitable for serving coffee or tea. The objects are made of white, glazed porcelain decorated with subtle, organic gilding.
The service is preserved in very good condition with slight traces of time in the form of small local abrasions of the pattern. Typical slight production imperfections - such as: spot irregularities in the porcelain surface, embedded particles (the largest flaw shown in the photo with the saucers), slight curvatures in the form. Porcelain is clean, without defects or cracks. All elements of the set are signed.
