Soup tureen, ZPS Karolina, Poland, 1960s/70s

Soup tureen made by Zakłady Porcelany Stołowej 'Karolina' in Jaworzyna Śląska, probably in 1960/70 (signature used since 1954).

A beautiful example of a mix of classic form and modernist graphics. The form with beautiful details is made of white porcelain, enriched with subtle gilding. The porcelain is also decorated with a decal with a geometric motif in black, sea and yellow.

The item is in very good condition with visible traces of time. Porcelain preserved in its entirety - without defects or cracks. Visible local abrasions of gilding and decals. Minor, typical factory defects in porcelain. The vase has the original signature.
