The author of this project is Erich Jachmann - an outstanding German designer still creating in the interwar period. The vase was designed in the 1950s for the famous WMF, produced in the Ernst Friedrich glassworks in Trappenkamp (Germany). This item is part of a larger series of vases whose common feature is round, symmetrical cuts. A highly valued, sought after and rare series.
The minimalist form of the vase is made of massive crystal glass dyed navy blue. A glossy sheet of glass decorated with matte, round cut-lenses, thanks to which the glass creates a very interesting visual effect.
The vase is in very good condition with slight traces of time. Glass is clean, transparent - preserved in its entirety, without defects or cracks. One micro chip in the upper part - barely visible. Small local scratches on the belly and on the bottom of the vase. A real rarity!
