Porcelain set 'Orion' designed in 1964 by the famous Jaroslav Ježek - called the founder of the Brussels style. Pattern produced in Czechoslovakia by Karlovarský Porcelán, initially in the factory in Lesov, and from 1968 in Nová Role.
An interesting fact is that 'Orion' was chosen by Sofia Loren for her needs during her visit to Karlovy Vary and Lesov.
The set consists of five cups and five saucers. It is made of white porcelain decorated with a minimalist pattern in the form of sea green and gold stripes. The cups are quite large - with a capacity of about 200 ml.
The set is preserved in its original, very good condition with minor traces of time in the form of local abrasions of the gilding. Porcelain preserved in its entirety - without defects or cracks. Noticeable typical production imperfections - curvatures in the form, small local flaws. All items signed.
Dimensions:
Cup: height approx. 7 cm, width approx. 9.5 cm, diameter approx. 7.5 cm, capacity: approx. 200 ml
Saucer: diameter about 15 cm
