Sputnik chandelier, Czechoslovakia, 1970s/80s

A sputnik chandelier manufactured in 1970/80 in Czechoslovakia by Elektroinstala Jílové u Děčína. A modernist design in the 'space design' trend.

Five lampshades made of transparent, textured glass are mounted on a metal one
construction. Metal elements are varnished in matt black. The lampshades are surrounded by semicircular decorative elements made of chrome plated sheet. Headliner made of black plastic - factory signature printed inside.

The lamp is preserved in very good condition with minimal traces of time. Glass lampshades preserved in their entirety, chrome without discoloration and rusting - with local scratches. The lamp is 100% technically efficient. Requires 5 bulbs for E27 thread, max 60 W.
